Over the course of the Comprehensive Plan update, public engagement included "off-line" venues - including open houses, a day-long workshop, public meetings, community events and meetings, town halls - and "on-line" venues, including this MindMixer site and several community surveys. More public comment was received in this update than in past efforts, with over 13,000 "touch points" (comment cards, worksheets completed, flip chart notes, ideas submitted or commented on, emails, survey responses, etc).

What do you think worked well (was a particular engagement method more effective/informative/engaging than another)? What do you think we can improve on next time? Were you engaged in the whole process, a little bit here and there, or not so much? Why or why not?

A lot of ideas were discussed, and many did not agree on some topics, but in general the residents and business representatives who participated shared one general overarching theme: maintaining the strong sense of community and keeping Frisco vital, desirable, and resilient over time. Do you think the 2015 Plan captures the community vision?
